The North Pocono Minisink Lions will host their Annual Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the North Pocono Football Stadium. The gates open at 6:00 pm. See the flyer below for additional information:

The Zoning Hearing Board to Covington Township has openings for the following positions: Secretary; (1) member and (1) alternate member. The North Pocono Senior Center will re-open at it’s new location on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 10:00 am. The new location for the Senior Center is 6 John J. Michaels Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. It is located in the rear of the police station. The hours of the Senior Center will remain the same, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. For any questions, call the Senior Center at 570-843-6485.

The Board of Supervisors will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The meeting agenda can be found under the meeting documents link.

The North Pocono Senior Center will be closed from Monday, June 5, 2023 thru Friday June 9, 2023 while they move to their new location. The Senior Center will re-open on Monday morning, June 12, 2023 at 10:00 am at their new location: 6 John J. Michaels Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. This new location is in the rear of the Covington Township Police Department building.

The Covington Township Board of Supervisors will hold it’s monthly work session on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The agenda can be found under Meeting Documents.

The Covington Township municipal office will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023 in observance of Memorial Day. The office will re-open on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 8:00 am.

The Board of Supervisors will hold their annual Memorial Day Services on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 1:00pm at the monument located near the Covington Township Police Department, 4 John J. Michaels Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. Light refreshments will be available after the services.

The Board of Supervisors of Covington Township will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 to consider the application for a change in zoning district requested by Joyce Outdoor Advertising, LLC for the purpose of Erection of Billboards/Off-Premises Advertising on a property located on Drinker Turnpike, adjacent to I-380.
