The Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 to hear testimony for a special exception and variances for a Love’s Travel Shop. The Covington Township Recreation Committee will be hosting its annual Fishing Derby for all North Pocono school children ages 16 and under on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 9:00am to noon. The event will be held at the pond at the Moffat Estate and pre-registration is required. Information for the fishing derby can be found on the Recreation Committee’s Facebook page or by contacting any member of the recreation committee.

An electronics recycling event has been scheduled for all North Pocono Residents for Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 9am to 11am. This recycling event is being hosted by Jefferson Township. The drop off will be held at the Jefferson Township Fire Company, 405 Cortez Road, Jefferson Township. For additional details, please see the event flyer below:
