A conditional use application has been received from Anthony Maras, Esq. on behalf of Quantm Group, LLC. to construct a Data Center and Energy Technology Campus. This application is being reviewed for completeness. No hearing has been scheduled.
Union Mill Road will be closed to traffic on Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25th. We believe the buses will be able to access Union Mill in the morning of Monday, August 25th, but they will not be able to access all of Union Mill in the afternoon. We believe they may be able to get to Independence Ridge on Monday afternoon, but most likely not on Tuesday afternoon, and unfortunately, access to the remainder of Union Mill will not be available until later in the afternoon/early evening. Because of this, we have arranged transportation via golf cart being operated by one of our police officers to transport any child to their home in the afternoon. We understand the concerns of our residents, which is why we have arranged for one of our officers to assist with this process. This may change as the day progresses due to the work completed by the contractors. There will be a police officer and/or DPW worker staged at each intersection of Union Mill, so if you have any questions throughout the day, please contact one of our employees. We have been notified by Wayco, Inc. they will not be working on Union Mill Road on Friday, August 21st, so Union Mill will be open for normal traffic. They will return on Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25th to finalize the pave. Union Mill will be closed to all traffic (except emergency vehicles) on both days (the road will re-open for evening hours). We apologize for any inconvenience.
The zoning hearing board hearing scheduled for this evening, Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. has been CANCELLED. The applicant, Love’s Travel Stops, has asked for the hearing to be continued. No further information has been provided.
Paving on Union Mill Road has started. Traffic on this road will be restricted every day this week (Aug. 17th thru Aug. 21st), except for Wednesday (Aug. 18th). Please take alternate routes while this road is being paved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The contractors are hoping to finish the paving on Friday, August 21st, but may need to complete this project on Monday, August 24th.
Jubilee Road between Lehigh Road and Freytown Road has been re-opened for the weekend, however, it will close again on Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th from 8:00am to 5:00pm for continued repairs.
