The Board of Supervisors has decided to CANCEL the public hearing originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 6:30 pm. The hearing was going to be held to consider adopting Ordinance #2024-01, An Ordinance of the Township of Covington, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, Imposing Restrictions as to the Weight of Vehicles Operated Upon Certain Township Roads; Providing for the Issuance of Permits and the Posting of Security for the Movement of Vehicles of a Weight in Excess of Restrictions; and Prescribing Penalties for Violations. This hearing will be rescheduled for a later date.
