Job opening: Zoning Code Enforcement Officer
Covington Township is looking for qualified applicants for the position of Zoning code Enforcement Officer (ZCEO). The applicants should have experience in all aspects of zoning code enforcement. They must become knowledgeable of Covington Township’s Zoning Code as well as the PA DCED’s recommendations and requirements for a ZCEO. This is a part time position and pay will be based on qualifications and experience. All applications should be mailed or dropped off at the Covington Township Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 by the end of the business day on Friday, July 22, 2022. All interested applicants will be contacted and interviewed shortly thereafter.

The supervisors are holding a special meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. This meeting is being held to address the bids for Langan Road. This meeting is open to the public.
Conditional Use Hearing
The board of supervisors are considering an application for conditional use requested by Seidita Realty, LLC., regarding property located at 422 Dorantown Rd., Covington Twp. (tax map # 21202-020-031). Seidita Realty, LLC. is seeking to change from a single family dwelling to a two family dwelling. The application is available for viewing in the township office. All interested parties are invited to attend.
