Memorial Day Services

The Board of Supervisors will hold their annual Memorial Day Services on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 1:00pm at the monument located near the Covington Township Police Department, 4 John J. Michaels Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. Light refreshments will be available after the services.


Public hearing agenda 5-24-2023

The Board of Supervisors of Covington Township will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 to consider the application for a change in zoning district requested by Joyce Outdoor Advertising, LLC for the purpose of Erection of Billboards/Off-Premises Advertising on a property located on Drinker Turnpike, adjacent to I-380. Office closing at 2pm today

The municipal office will be closing at 2pm today, Thursday, May 18, 2023. We will re-open tomorrow, May 19 at 8am for regular business hours.


Spring Clean-Up

The annual spring clean up will be held tomorrow, Friday May 19th and Saturday, May 20th from 8am to 5pm. Please be advised NO televisions will be accepted. We will be hosting an electronics recycling event on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at the recycling center.


Tax Collector Office Hours

The Covington Township Tax Collector will be at the Municipal office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, May 10, 11, 12 from 9 am to 11 am for the purpose of collecting township real estate taxes.


Office Closing Early

The township offices will be closing at 12 noon today, Friday, May 5, 2023. They will re-open for normal business hours on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 8 a.m.


Pavilion Manager Needed

The Covington Township Board of Supervisors will be accepting applications for Pavilion Manager. The qualified candidate will be required to manage the rentals of the Moffat pavilion, including, but not limited to, maintaining a calendar of scheduled rentals, collecting all fees associated with the rentals, assuring the rules and regulations of the pavilion are being upheld, assuring the pavilion is returned to it’s previous condition at the end of each rental, opening/closing the pavilion after each rental. Weekends are a must. The rental season for the pavilion is Spring, Summer, and early Fall each year. Applications can be found online at www.covingtontwp.org and will be accepted until May 25, 2023.
