Public Hearings scheduled

The Covington Township Board of Supervisors will conduct Two (2) Public Hearings to consider the adoption of Two (2) separate ordinances. Both hearings will be held in the Covington Township Municipal Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The first (1st) hearing will be held to consider the adoption of the Emergency Response Payment Reimbursement Ordinance which would authorize the volunteer fire departments, volunteer ambulance services, and other emergency rescue service organizations of this township to charge and recoup the costs of certain emergency rescue services and equipment. This ordinance may be adopted at the conclusion of this hearing.

The second (2nd) hearing will begin immediately following the first (1st) hearing and will consider the adoption of the Property Maintenance Code of Covington Township which would adopt the International Property Maintenance Code, 2021 Edition. This ordinance may be adopted at the conclusion of this hearing.
