Update for Union Mill Road & Independence Ridge Residents

Union Mill Road will be closed to traffic on Monday, August 24^th and Tuesday, August 25^th.  We believe the buses will be able to access Union Mill in the morning of Monday, August 25^th, but they will not be able to access all of Union Mill in the afternoon. We believe they may be able to get to Independence Ridge on Monday afternoon, but most likely not on Tuesday afternoon, and unfortunately, access to the remainder of Union Mill will not be available until later in the afternoon/early evening. Because of this, we have arranged transportation via golf cart being operated by one of our police officers to transport any child to their home in the afternoon. We understand the concerns of our residents, which is why we have arranged for one of our officers to assist with this process. This may change as the day progresses due to the work completed by the contractors. There will be a police officer and/or DPW worker staged at each intersection of Union Mill, so if you have any questions throughout the day, please contact one of our employees.
