The planning commission will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 7:00pm at the municipal office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. At this time, there is nothing to come before the planning commission, but they will be present to answer any questions should members of the public attend.

Hailstone Economic will be attending the Planning Commission Work Session scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 7:00pm. The purpose of their attendance will be to meet with officials and residents of Covington Township for a fact-finding mission as they begin the process of preparing the North Pocono Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Updates. The meeting will be held at the Covington Township Municipal Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. All residents are encouraged to attend.

Effective immediately, the police department has relocated to their new location. The new location for the police department is 10 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444.
The Zoning Hearing Board will hold a hearing on Tuesday February 18, 2025, at 6:30pm, at the Covington Township Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 for the purpose of receiving evidence and hearing testimony concerning the Application for a Variance by Applicants Adam R. Kieselowsky and Karen Kieselowsky for the use of the real property located at 279 Union Mill Road (Covington Township) Covington Township, PA 18444 with Tax Parcel No. 20402-020-007 as a Garage. At issue are the requests for relief under the Covington Township Zoning Ordinance Article III-Definitions-Garage-Private Parking, Section 407-Developmental Standard and Section 608.3-Variances. The 2025 Spring Clean Up will take place on Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 7am to 5pm. Spring Clean Up will once again be held in the rear parking lot of the Covington Independent Fire Company. Enter the clean up using Dorantown and exit using Route 502.
