Paving on Union Mill Road has started. Traffic on this road will be restricted every day this week (Aug. 17th thru Aug. 21st), except for Wednesday (Aug. 18th). The contractors are hoping to finish the paving on Friday, August 21st, but may need to complete this project on Monday, August 24th.

The Covington Township Recreation Committee will be hosting its annual Fishing Derby for all North Pocono school children ages 16 and under on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 9:00am to noon. The event will be held at the pond at the Moffat Estate and pre-registration is required.
