In observance of the Labor Day holiday, the municipal office will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024. The office will re-open for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 8:00 am.

The Board of Supervisors will be holding (2) separate public hearings tomorrow evening, August 6, 2024 beginning at 6:00pm for the consideration of adopting ordinances #2024-01 (An Ordinance to Repeal Ordinance No. 2005-01, originally Ordinance No. 2003-06, an ordinance imposing a tax on admissions to amusements; establishing the rates of taxation and requiring payment of tax due; requiring permit, fee, and application; establishing the expiration date thereof; establishing the duties of the designated tax collector; requiring a confidential return; and prescribing penalties for violations) and #2024-02 (An Ordinance Approving the Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement for the North Pocono Planning Association). The Covington Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. for the consideration of adopting Ordinance #2024-02, An Ordinance Approving the Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement for the North Pocono Planning Association (NP). This ordinance may be adopted at the conclusion of the hearing.
