Budget Workshop
The Board of Supervisors are holding a budget workshop at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. All interested parties are invited to attend.
Budget Workshop Meeting
The Board of Supervisors are holding a special meeting at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. for a Budget Workshop. All interested parties are invited to attend.
Drive-thru Fire Truck or Treat
On Sunday, October 31, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., the Covington Independent Fire Company’s Auxilliary will be hosting a drive-thru Fire Truck or Treat event. There will be a fire truck outside where families can drive up with their trick-or-treaters and receive a small bag of goodies.
October Monthly Meeting
The October monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. This meeting is open to the public. Due to the substantial increase in COVID-19 cases, masks are required to be worn properly while in the municipal office regardless of vaccination status.

CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Storm Road Closing Wednesday, 9/15/21 & Thursday 9/16-21
STORM ROAD CONSTRUCTION:
Storm Road will be CLOSED to all traffic on Wednesday, 9/15/21 and Thursday, 9/16/21 beginning at 7:30 a.m for the 2nd and final coat of paving. The road will NOT be passable during this part of the paving process. Storm road will reopen upon completion at the end of each day.
Recreation Committee Meeting for Holiday Events
The Recreation Committee will be holding their next meeting on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Office. They will be discussing and planning for the upcoming holiday events. This meeting is open to the public and all those interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend.
Opening: Zoning Hearing Board Alternate
The Zoning Hearing Board is currently seeking interested individuals to fill an Alternate Member position of the Zoning Hearing Board. Members of the Board have an opportunity to partake in an active civics lesson during review of applications. This position also gives individuals a chance to participate in making decisions that have a lasting impact on their community. The Zoning Hearing Board meets approximately 5-6 times per year. Applicants must reside in Covington Township. All appointments are approved by the Board of Supervisors. Interested individuals are asked to submit a letter of interest to:

Job Opening: Zoning Office Secretary – Office Assistant
The Board of Supervisors are accepting applications for a part-time Zoning Secretary – Office Assistant. Applicants must be self-motivated with a degree of innovativeness and enthusiasm, have good typing and computer skills, as well as proficiency with Word & Publisher. The person selected will assist as needed with zoning related items, perform general office related duties, process permits, maintain files, produce a quarterly newsletter, monthly reports, etc. Salary is commensurate with experience.
