The Zoning hearing board will hold a public hearing tonight, July 11, 20224 at 5:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive Covington Township, PA 18444 for the purpose of receiving evidence and hearing testimony concerning the Application for a Variance-Sign by Applicant 2025 Bochicchio Covington/Owner B&B Realty Co for the use of the real property located at Drinker Turnpike and Bochicchio Boulevard. Recycling will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024 for normal hours, 7:00 am to 11:00 am at the Recycling Center.

Lackawanna County has informed the township that Tyler Technologies Data Collectors will be moving into Covington Township in about two (2) weeks as part of the reassessment effort of Lackawanna County. All Data Collectors will be wearing yellow reflective safety vest with TYLER printed on the back, as well as County issued ID’s around their necks with Lackawanna County stamped lanyards.
