Invitation to Bid

Sealed proposals will be received by Covington Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania at the Covington Township Municipal Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444, care of Melinda Musso, Township Secretary, until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, for the purchase of a used 4×4 tractor with a side mount boom mower, right hand mid mount, 90-110 horsepower, less than 1,500 hours, and a reach capacity of 15-20 feet. The township is not accepting any bids over $50,000. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Proposal for Tractor – Boom Mower”. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud the same day during the regular monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m.

~ Enclosed cab with heat/AC/radio
~ 4-wheel drive
~ 3-point hitch
~ Forward and reverse column mounted reverser
~ Front mounted hydraulic pump

The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
