The board of supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 6:30pm to consider adopting Ordinance #2025-04, An Ordinance Amending Ordinance # 2023-01 (Large-Scale Solar Electric Facility Ordinance). The hearing will be held at the Municipal office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The draft of Ordinance #2025-04 can be found below:

The municipal office will have reduced hours on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The office will be open from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, and will re-open for normal business hours on Thursday, October 30, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to the resignation of the Zoning Hearing Board secretary, there is currently a vacancy for this position. The zoning hearing board meets on an as needed basis. The Board of Supervisors will hold a budget meeting on Monday, September 30, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The purpose of this meeting is to begin working on the 2026 budget. The agenda for this meeting can be found under the meeting documents tab, 2025 meeting agendas.

The budget meeting originally scheduled for this evening, September 29th at 6pm, has been CANCELLED due to a lack of quorum. A new date for the budget meeting will be set at the monthly meeting of the board of supervisors scheduled for October 7, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
