Township office closing early March 21, 2024
The Covington Township Municipal office will be closing at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024. It will re-open for normal business hours on Friday, March 22, 2024.

UPDATE: Police Chief applications being accepted until Wednesday, March 20, 2024
Resumes are now being accepted for the position of Police Chief. Interested parties should submit their letter of interest and resume to the township office at secretary@covingtontwp.org by end of day on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Spring Clean Up Dates Announced
Spring Clean Up for Covington Township residents will be held on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please bring proof of residency. The clean up will be held in the rear of the Covington Fire Company grounds. All residents should enter the clean up area via Dorantown Road and exit via Route 502. Further details to follow.
Office closing early
The municipal office will close at 2:30pm today, March 12, 2024. It will reopen tomorrow, March 13, 2024 for regular business hours. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Municipal Office Hours
The Municipal office will be closing at 1:00 pm on Thursday March 7th and will be closed on Friday March 8th. The office will reopen on Monday March 11th at 8:00 am.
Pavilion Manager New phone number
The new phone number for the pavilion manager is 570-906-1484. Please note this change for any questions relating to the rental of the pavilion located on the Moffat Estate.
Planning Commission Work Session cancelled
The Planning Commission has cancelled their work session for Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Their next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444.
