Office closing at 2:00 pm today, Thursday February 23, 2023

The Covington Township Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of a Solar Ordinance. The purpose of the Ordinance is to provide for the regulation of the construction, operation and decommission of large scale electric facilities in Covington Township. The hearing will be held in the Covington Township Municipal Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. A full copy of the proposed ordinance can be found below or at the Covington Township Municipal Building.

The Board of Supervisors will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 7 pm at the Municipal Offices, Moffat Mansion, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444.

The monthly work session of the Board of Supervisors will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal offices, Moffat Mansion, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444

Due to the impending weather, the North Pocono Senior Center will be closed on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. They will reopen on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10 am.

The Planning Commission will hold it’s re-organization meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 6:45 pm followed by a January Work Session at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The agenda for both can be found below:

The municipal offices will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The offices will re-open on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 8:00 am.
