The Board of Supervisors will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The agenda can be found below:

Santa Claus has arrived at the Mansion. He will be here from noon to 3pm today (December 2nd) and tomorrow from noon to 3pm (December 3rd). The Grinch may also make an appearance.

The Board of Supervisors will hold their monthly work session tomorrow evening, November 28, 2023 at 7:00pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The agenda can be found below:

There will be a public hearing held tomorrow evening, November 28, 2023 at 6:30pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 to consider the adoption of Ordinance #2023-06, an ordinance to amend the current driveway permits ordinance (#2012-03) to require permit(s) when property owners are improving an existing driveway. A copy of the proposed ordinance along with the agenda can be found below:

The Municipal Office will be closing at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. The Municipal office will be closed all day on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in observance of Thanksgiving Day and will remain closed on Friday, November 24, 2023. The office will re-open at 8:00 am on Monday, November 27, 2023. The Board of Supervisors would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

The Recreation Committee of Covington Township will be hosting Christmas at the Mansion on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3 from 12 noon to 3:00 pm both days. Santa will be available for pictures. There will be light refreshments and gifts for the children.

The planning commission will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. The agenda for this meeting can be found below:

The Board of Supervisors have prepared a tentative budget for the 2024 year, which will be adopted, after changes if any, at their monthly meeting to be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 7:00 pm. The proposed budget is open for inspection and can be found either at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 or below:

The agendas for the public hearings scheduled for tomorrow evening, November 14, 2023, for the Emergency Response Payment Reimbursement Ordinance and the Property Maintenance Code Ordinance can be found below. The hearings will begin at 6:30pm starting with the Emergency Response Payment Reimbursement Ordinance (#2023-04). The Property Maintenance Code Ordinance (#2023-05) will begin at the conclusion of the Emergency Response Payment Reimbursement Ordinance hearing. The hearings will be held the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444.
