Public Hearing ~ Ordinance #2024-01

The Covington Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. for the consideration of adopting Ordinance #2024-01, An Ordinance to Repeal Ordinance #2005-01 (Originally Ordinance No. 2003-06), an ordinance imposing a tax on admissions to amusements; establishing the rates of taxation and requiring payment of tax due; requiring permit, fee, and application; establishing the expiration date thereof; establishing the duties of the designated tax collector; requiring a confidential return; and prescribing penalties for violations.  This ordinance may be adopted at the conclusion of the hearing.
