The Board of Supervisors will be holding their Work Session on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444. This meeting is open to the public.
The board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of a Knox Box Ordinance. The hearing will be held in the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. A full copy of the proposed ordinance is available below and the township office for review. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Invitation to Bid: Sealed proposals will be received by Covington Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania at the Covington Township Municipal Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444, care of Melinda Musso, Township Secretary, until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022, for the purchase of a used single smooth drum vibratory roller. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Proposal for Roller”. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

The Board of Supervisors are accepting applications for a full-time position of Road Laborer. Applicants for this position must have a current CDL license with experience.
The supervisors are also accepting applications for two part-time (summer) positions for Road Laborers. Applicants for this position must have a current driver’s license with a clean driving record. Applications may be obtained online at covingtontwp.org (https://covingtontwp.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/COVINGTON-TOWNSHIP-Application-for-Employment-2011.pdf)or picked up at the Municipal Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444.
