Accepting bids for painting at Moffat

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Covington Township Board of Supervisors will be accepting sealed bids for various painting projects, both interior and exterior, at the Covington Township Municipal offices, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444.  Interested bidders should contact the office at 570-842-8336 or secretary@covingtontwp.org for the scope of work to be completed.  The sealed bids will be accepted until 12 noon on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 and will be opened at the next monthly meeting of the Township Supervisors to be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Office, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444.  The township reserves the right to refuse any or all bids.



Offices Closing Early 3-9-2023

The municipal offices will be closing at 2:30 p.m. today, Thursday, March 9, 2023. They will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. for regular business hours.


Full-Time Police Officer Needed

The Police Chief is currently accepting applications for a full-time police officer. Applicants must be Act 120 Certified, possess a valid PA Driver’s license, must be of good moral character and pass an extensive background investigation.
